The place we call home – where we celebrate, plan for the future, laugh, live, love – is as close a reflection of our true selves in all their varied forms as the friends we choose and the clothes we wear. I have raised a family here and currently share a vintage apartment with my husband Glenn and two puppies in Lincoln Park. Off hours, you can find me running the network of trails that trace Chicago’s lake-front and public lands – where wild nature effortlessly co-exists beside the glittering city skyline. It is a breathtaking reminder of the diverse beauty that defines our city by the lake.
